Equip Your Garden

At No Dig Norfolk Gardeners, we believe that the right tools can transform your gardening experience. Our curated selection of gardening essentials is designed to support both efficiency and productivity, helping you cultivate a vibrant and fruitful garden with ease.

Long-Life Propagation Tray, Seed Tray Shallow

We use this shallow propagation tray for starting fast-growing crops like salads and herbs in early spring. Its durability means it lasts season after season, and its compact design makes it easy to handle and store. By keeping seedlings consistently moist and organised, it helps ensure strong, healthy plants ready for transplanting into our no dig beds.

Long-Life Propagation Tray, Seed Tray, 40 Cells Deep

Ideal for deeper-rooted crops like brassicas or leeks, these 40-cell trays allow seedlings to establish robust root systems before planting out. We rely on them for succession sowing throughout the year. The deep cells reduce root disturbance during transplanting, meaning less shock and faster settling into the soil.

Fleece Support Stakes

We use these stakes to create secure hoops using 25 mm poly pipe, forming protective covers over our beds. Whether it’s fleece or mesh, the stakes keep everything stable—even in strong wind. They make setting up tunnels quick and fuss-free, helping us guard against pests and frosts without heavy structures.

Poly Pipe (25 mm)

This flexible pipe is our go-to for making easy hoop frames to support fleece, mesh, or shade netting. It’s affordable, weatherproof, and easy to cut to custom lengths. We push it into the fleece support stakes to create tunnels over our beds, providing protection without digging or damage to the soil structure.

Insect Fine Netting

We use this netting all season long to keep cabbage white butterflies, carrot fly, and aphids off our crops—especially brassicas, carrots, and leeks. It allows light and rain through while acting as a barrier against pests. It means less need for interventions and better harvests with fewer losses.

30L Potato Containers

These containers are perfect for growing first earlies, second earlies, or even maincrop potatoes without needing raised beds. We fill them with our compost mix and plant 1–3 tubers per pot. When ready, we simply tip them out—no digging or forking. It’s a great method for small spaces or patios.

Vegega Raised Bed

We use these sturdy metal raised beds throughout our garden. They’re stylish, long-lasting, and ideal for our no dig method. The depth retains moisture, compost stays neatly contained, and access is easier on the back. It’s a brilliant foundation for a productive veg plot.

Harvst Automation Watering System

Installed in our polytunnel, this system automatically waters our plants based on weather, soil moisture, or timers. It’s made watering more efficient and freed up our time—especially during holidays or heatwaves. Consistent watering has meant healthier growth and fewer stressed crops.

Fleece for Early-Season Warmth

We lay fleece over beds in late winter and early spring to warm the soil and protect young seedlings from frost. Held in place by our pipe and stakes, it creates a microclimate that encourages early growth. It’s lightweight, reusable, and an essential tool for extending the growing season.
